Planning Board Meeting Minutes 12/23/10
Members Present: Maggie Leonard; Chair, Alan Solomon, Larry Klein, Stephen Enoch, Bridget Krans and Barry Karson
- Meeting to Order: 7:10
- Meeting with Town Counsel: Maggie, Barry and Larry met with Town Counsel today regarding the new Telecommunications Bylaw draft. During the meeting Town Counsel and the board members discussed the current draft of the New Telecommunications Bylaw and changes and additions that Town Counsel felt were necessary.
- Public Hearing: Maggie mentioned that people have made various suggestions about what day of the week the public hearing should be scheduled. The board decided on Tuesday January 25th at 7:00 PM. Maggie will put it in the Record and submit it to the Monterey Town News.
- Review Information on Zoning Review from Mark Bobrowski- Mark Bobrowski of Blatman, Bobrowski and Mead, LLC has reviewed the town bylaw and gave back some input. The board is going to go over the suggestions.
- Budget request for FY 2012- The board discussed the Clerk budget as well as adding in to have the bylaws re-written. The board also discussed whether or not money should be requested for aid in writing a Master Plan. The board decided to wait on the Master Plan.
- Previous meeting minutes- Larry requested that the minutes be sent out via email prior to every meeting. The board also agreed that approving the minutes should be immediately following business from the public. Meetings were unanimously approved.
- Special Permit application for Wilson McLaughlin House Dog Park- The board was perplexed as to why a special permit was needed. Maggie is going to write the finding that states that according to the bylaw a special permit is not needed.
